Swiss contingent arrives at 102

During one of Poughkeepsie's hottest afternoons so far, the residents of 102 College Ave. were surprised by the arrival of two new faces from the faraway lands of Europe! Urs and Michael are two Swiss students/activists/backpackers/hitchhikers who are trying to make their way across the USA this summer, starting their journey in Maine and finishing it somewhere in California.

They got to experience Vassar's "vibrant" summer nightlife at a party in the THs (where Carlos Leos was spotted taking part in a lightsaber fight?), check out the site of the Poughkeepsie Farm Project, and eat some delicious arepas and raw Kohlrabi.

Pictured above are Michael and Roberto, the truck driver that brought them to POK. We wish them good luck as they continue their voyage!

This is so cool! Just to provide some background, Urs and I went to school together in India. We were co-chaired the photography club together :) It's too bad I wasn't there to see him.
